I love New York street photography and the plucky photographers that go out to find and capture those magical confluences of time, place and humanity.
And sometimes, even I get lucky. This was taken at the Westbeth artist housing in the far West Village in Greenwich Village.
Once inside, it has the feel of institutional living, a massive labyrinth of endless, shiny hallways and equally endless doors. But from inside each apartment wafts the creative genius of the myriad artists that live there.
It’s quite a magical little enclave.
Happy shooting.
