I’ve talked about photographing the ‘essence of a thing’ before and here we go again.
When people think of New York City they think about action, movement and a city that never sleeps.
I think this photo has a lot of each of those criteria. A simple photo of a moving tour bus takes on all the characteristics in one fell swoop. Or is it one swell foop?
So next time you’re in your own or a new city, take the time to think about what each destination is about and capture the essence of the thing.
